Vivo has launched its X50 series, it includes X50, X50 Pro and X50 Pro+. The X50 Pro and Pro+ have very distinctive camera stabilization, whereas the X50 Pro+ has a new 50MP main camera. Let’s take a look at X50 Pro+ first.
The vivo X50 Pro+ has a 6.56 inch Amoled display with curved edges and Full HD+ resolution plus 120Hz high refresh rate. It has a 32MP selfie camera in a very minimal punch-hole that resides on top left corner of the display. It also features an optical fingerprint reader under the display.
Vivo X50 Pro+ is fueled by snapdragon 865 with 8/12GB ram and 128/256GB of internal storage. It runs on Android 10 on top of Funtouch 10.5 skin. It packs a 4315mAh battery with 44W fast charging.
Vivo X50 Pro+ is rocking a quad-camera setup with some unique features, a 50MP ISOCELL 1/1.3″ sensor with 4:1 pixel binning tech, that will produce 12.5MP images with massive 2.4µm pixels, which could help a lot in low light conditions. It has a motion deblur feature that helps in low-light images and videos. It also has an astrophotography mode like Pixel 4 to capture stars vividly.
It has an 8MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and 60x hybrid zoom, next one is a 13MP 2x optical zoom sensor fro portraits and the last one is an 8MP ultra-wide sensor.
Vivo X50 Pro
Vivo X50 Pro features same curved display as Pro+, but it has 90Hz refresh rate instead of 120Hz. The X50 Pro is powered by snapdragon 765G with 8GB ram and 128/256GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. It packs same size battery as the Pro version, but only supports 33W fast charging.
X50 pro has a 48MP sensor with f/1.6 aperture with gimbal OIS that is more advanced version of OIS, vivo has shown the capability of gimbal OIS and it is far ahead from the current OIS mechanism, Next one is an 8MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom lens and smaller f/3.4 aperture. The rest two cameras are same as Pro+ variant.
Vivo X50 has the same display as X50 Pro but with flat screen instead of curved edges. It is powered by midrange snapdragon 765G with 8GB of ram and 128/256GB of internal storage. It packs slightly a smaller battery with 33W fast charging.
It is featuring the same 48MP sensor with f/1.6 but with conventional OIS, plus a 13MP sensor with 2x optical zoom, next is an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with 120 degree FOV and a 5MP macro sensor.
Vivo X50 8/128GB will cost ($490) and the 8/256GB will cost ($550). whereas the X50 Pro 8/128GB version is priced at ($600) and 8/256GB will cost ($660), And the X50 Pro+ 8/128GB will cost ($700) while 8/256GB will cost ($770) and the top tier variant 12/256 is priced at ($840).
