Black Shark 3S launched with a 120Hz display, which is higher refresh rate than we saw in the simple Black Shark 3. Got a bump of just 9mAh in battery + now have a UFS 3.1 storage instead of UFS 3.0 we get on Black Shark 3.
Display & Internals
Black Shark 3S is featuring a 6.67 inches Amoled display with 120Hz refresh rate and 270Hz touch sampling rate with HDR10+ support as well. It does have a very minimal forehead which has a 20MP selfie sensor in it. It also has a fingerprint reader under the display. There are two different areas of pressure sensitive touch, and the user can customize them as well.
The Black Shark 3S is powered by the Snapdragon 865, paired with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. It runs on Android 10 OS. It packs a 4729mAh battery with 65W fast charging, that can charge 100% battery in just 38 minutes.
Black Shark 3S has a triple camera setup on the back, primary camera is a 64MP f/1.8 sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide sensor with 120 degree FOV and a 5MP depth sensor for better portraits. It can shoot 4K video up to 60fps, 1080p up to 240fps and 720p up to a whopping 1920fps.
Black Shark 3S will cost you ($575) for 12/128GB, and around ($620) for 12/256GB variant.
