We are on the verge of the Unpacked Galaxy event, which is going to take place on August 5. But there are some rumors about the next flagship Galaxy S21 family surfacing on the internet. We gave a news in May about, that Samsung has approached AMD to step up its graphics game in its own flagship Exynos chipset. Because Exynos 990 in Galaxy S20 series did not worked out as Samsung expected.

Now, there are rumors that Samsung will use its Exynos 1000 to power just the Galaxy S21 Ultra, but not the entire S21 series, as the Exynos 1000 will use custom built GPU by AMD. And it is also possible that Samsung not use Snapdragon 875 even for the US region, because the Snapdragon 875 will allegedly be $100 expensive than the SD 865/865+.

Another weird rumor is out, that the base model of Galaxy S21 will still use a 60Hz display in 2021. These are rumors again, and we are far away from the unveiling of the Galaxy S21, so Samsung can change anything in its upcoming flagship series.
