Honor announced Play4 Pro and Play4, the pro version is powered by a Kirin 990, whereas Play4 is powered by Mediatek Dimensity 800. Both phones offers 5G connectivity. Now let’s take a detail look at both phones.
The Honor Play4 Pro has a 6.57 inch IPS display with Full HD+ resolution and aspect ratio of 20:9. It has a dual punch-hole design for dual selfie cameras, main is a 32MP sensor and second one is a 8MP ultra-wide camera.
Honor Play4 Pro is powered by Kirin 990 chipset, which is an octa-core and based on 7nm process, It is paired by 8GB of ram and 128GB of internal storage. It runs on Android 10 on top of Magic UI 3.1, but without Google services. It packs a 4200mAh battery cell with 40W fast charging that charges 70% battery in just 30 minutes. It also features a side mounted fingerprint reader.
Honor Play4 Pro has a dual camera setup on the back, primary is a RYYB 40MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture and second is an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and up to 30x digital zoom. It can shoot up to 4K 60fps video and super slo-mo 960fps at 720p.
Honor Play4 features a 6.81 inch IPS display with Full HD+ resolution and aspect ratio of 20:9. It has a punch hole on the top left corner of the display which holds a 16MP selfie sensor.
Honor Play4 is powered by Dimensity 800 chipset, with 8GB of ram and 128GB of internal storage plus a Micro SDXC slot as well. It runs on Android 10 too with Magic UI 3.1 skin, and has the same issue of not having Google services. It features a side mounted fingerprint reader and a 4300mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging.
Honor Play4 has a quad camera setup, including a 64MP sensor with f/1.9, second is an 8MP ultra-wide sensor plus two 2MP sensors, one for macro shots and other one is a depth sensor. It can shoot video up to 4K 30fps.
The Honor Play4 Pro is priced at ($410/€365), whereas the plain Honor Play4 will cost ($280/€250).
