Huawei’s Mate 40 series to launch very soon, as Mate 40 devices have been granted a certification from MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) China. These certifications did not disclosed any official specs, but we know that Mate 40 to feature the flagship Kirin chipset, probably be called as Kirin 1000, which will be based on 5nm architecture.
It is very more likely that, these will be the last in-house Kirin chipsets that will feature in Huawei flagship phones, as US government has banned the Chinese tech giant to do business with US companies. So, Huawei will be forced to use some other vendors chipsets after it ran out of stock.
The Huawei Mate 40 is expected to have a dual front cameras, as we have seen from the CAD renders, and a quad camera setup on the back. It will reportedly use an 108MP for main camera and a periscope lens as well. We know that Huawei flagships have the versatility, when it comes to camera setup.
