Huawei unveiled Y8s, Powered by Kirin 710

Huawei unveiled its new phone in “Y series” named Y8s, it’s a Huawei so it has no Google Services, It’s relying on Huawei app gallery for app support. It is rocking dual cameras on the front and on back as well.


Huawei Y8s is featuring a 6.5″ IPS panel with Full HD+ resolution and aspect ratio fo 19.5:9. It has a OnePlus 6 like notch but for a reason. It is holding two front cameras, an 8MP sensor and a 2MP sensor for depth sensing.


Huawei Y8s is powered by Kirin 710 an Octa-core chipset, which is based on 12nm process. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB & 128GB of internal storage plus a microSD card slot expansion. Unfortunately it runs on old Android 9 version on the top of Huawei’s skin EMUI 9.1. It packs a pretty decent 4000mAh battery and has conventional charging via micro USB.


The Huawei Y8s has a dual camera setup on the back and a fingerprint scanner as well. It has a 48MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor for just to shoot better portraits. It can shoot video max up to 1080p @ 30 fps.
