From the past couple of years LG phones are not as excited as they have been in the times of the legendary LG G3. The major reason of their mobile division’s suffering was due to lack of innovation in software department aka OS. There is a rumor surrounding regarding LG’s new series “Velvet” replacing their famous flagship “G Series”. Velvet is going to make debut on May 15th. LG gave internet a glimpse of the upcoming phone.
From the pictures it looks like that they have completely changed their way of brain storming on design language. It is rather clean looking and more like a flagship design as compared to G series. Camera module on the back is also redesigned vertically now and it has separate spaces for sensors. We can’t see the notch or a punch-hole on the front from the pictures but we can see the curve on the front and on the back as well.
As for the specs it is rumored that Velvet will be powered by a Snapdragon 765G, a 48MP shooter and 4000mAh cell but we don’t have confirmation about RAM & Storage. With these specs it will more likely to start with 6/128GB. We’ll update you when we hear anything else about LG’s Velvet.
