Meizu announced its two new phones Meizu 17 & 17 Pro. Both are identical in terms of design, The 17 Pro has better ram and difference between megapixel count. First let’s take a look at similar features of 17 & 17 Pro.
The Meizu 17 duo features a 6.6″ Super Amoled display with Full HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and come with HDR10+ support as well. Both phones have an Optical In-Display fingerprint as well. Their displays can get bright up to 700 nits. And for selfie camera they got a punch-hole design and which carries a 20MP sensor.
The Meizu 17 & 17 Pro packs Snapdragon 865 top of the line chipset for ultimate performance with 5G connectivity. The Pro version has up to 12GB of LPDDR5 ram whereas the simple 17 has 8GB of LPDDR4X. Both have 128GB/256GB storage which is a fast UFS 3.1 tech. On the software hand both runs on Flyme 8.1 based on Android 10.
The 17 & 17 pro has a pretty decent 4500mAh battery cell and 30W fast charging support, But the Pro version also supports surprisingly a fast 27W wireless charging as well.
The 17 duo comes with a quad camera setup on the back, Both have 64MP main sensors but the Pro has a 32MP ultra-wide camera whereas non-Pro has an 8MP ultra-wide. The Pro version also got 8MP 3x telephoto lens and 8x loseless zoom with it, Third lens on the non-Pro is a 12MP wide f/1.9 sensor instead of a telephoto. The fourth camera on the Pro is a TOF 3D sensor for depth mapping, and the last camera on the non-Pro is a 5MP macro lens. Both can record 4K video at 60 fps max.
The 8/128GB Meizu 17 will cost ($525) and 8/256GB will cost ($565)
The 17 Pro starts at ($605) for 8/128GB version and the 12/256GB will cost ($665).
