Mobile shipments declined by 13% in Q1 2020

We all know about the current lockdown situation in the world, Consumers are just worried about their bread and butter in the current circumstances. Other than necessities every other commodity has less demand, similarly the demand of mobile phones has also been decrease drastically as compared to last year.

This year smartphone sales have declined by 13%, and these are huge numbers. Some companies have shipped much less than others, and some have shipped more smartphones than last year.

Canalys smartphone analysis data showed that mobile shipments declined in 2020

Canalys smartphone analysis gathered this data of which showed that mobile shipments declined in Q1 2020. Samsung and Huawei have shipped 17% fewer smartphones this year. Apple has shipped 8% fewer smartphones but Xiaomi has shipped 9% more smartphones despite a slow overall growth rate in Q1 2020. Whereas Vivo’s numbers also soared by 3%.
