Qualcomm introduced Quick Charge 3+

Qualcomm has introduced Quick Charge 3+ for Snapdragon 765G devices. Let’s go back and recall its invention. Qualcomm quick charge 1.0 was introduced back in 2013 when every phone had the capability of charging up to 5W. Quick charge 1.0 supported 10W of charging and it was really cool to see at that time. Today the minimum current a phone can charge is 18W.

Quick Charge 3+ has promised 0 to 50% charge in just 15 minutes, that is 35% improvement over Quick Charge 3, It will also be cooler up to 9 Degree Celsius. The cooling is also very essential part of fast charging besides high wattage. It also eliminates the use of external components like OVP (Over Voltage Protection) and sense resistors etc.

We have seen the pioneer of ultra-high charging speeds and that is Oppo, Its latest technology is SuperVOOC 2.0 which can charge a phone up to 65W, that is insane. In the near future we will see that our phone will get completely charge in just 10 to 15 minutes.
