Sharp’s 240Hz display phone is now available outside its native region

The Sharp Aquos Zero 2, the first phone in the world with the 240Hz display is now available in Taiwan for ($730/€670). It was originally launched in September of last year in Japan.

Sharp Aquos Zero 2 has a 6.4 inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 240Hz refresh rate, which is insane. It supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision. It also has an optical fingerprint scanner under the display. It has a U-shaped notch style, which has 8MP selfie camera.

Aquos Zero 2 is powered by Snapdragon 855, because it was launched last year but was not available outside Japan. It is paired with 8GB ram and 256GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage. It runs on Android 10 version out of the box. It comes with a 3130mAh battery, which is quite small for a 6.4 inch 240Hz display.

Sharp Aquos Zero 2 is rocking a dual camera setup, which was normal in 2019 and dose not have any macro sensor. Its primary is a 12MP f/1.7 sensor, next to it is a 20MP ultra-wide sensor with 125 degree FOV. It can shoot video max up to 4K 30fps.
