It is obvious that every Far Cry fan has been looking forward to the release of at least one Far Cry 6 gameplay footage. Well, worry no more because this week is going to be a good one with gameplay reveals as Ubisoft too officially announced that the first Far Cry 6 Gameplay footage will be revealed during a live stream on Friday, May 28th.
The live streams will be broadcasted on both Ubisoft’s official YouTube and Twitch channels, starting at 9:30 AM PT / 12:30 PM ET. Earlier, a short teaser video was released by Ubisoft to announce the event.
The game’s primary villain, Anton Castillo, played by Breaking Bad’s Giancarlo Esposito, gives a terrifying monologue about sacrificing some dissidents for the greater benefit of the fictional country, Yara, in the short teaser.
The first announcement of Far Cry 6 was made on July 12th, 2017 during the Ubisoft Forward event, and the first teaser was mainly cinematic, showing Anton talking to his son, Diego, while on a rooftop as rioting raged below. The player will take on the character of Dani, a member of the resistance movement who joins the struggle against Castillo’s tyrannical reign.
The game is expected to feature a significant divergence from the franchise’s previous flagship release. Far Cry 5 was set in the fictional Hope County, Montana, where players had to battle a religious cult leader. Nevertheless, that was not the most recent Far Cry game to be released. Far Cry New Dawn, an unofficial sequel to Far Cry 5, was the most recent chapter in the genre, taking place in a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
Although the release date is unknown, it is believed to be before the 30th of September, this year 2021 and it will be available on practically every device imaginable, including the PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and even Google Stadia.
Hopefully, the coming Far Cry 6 gameplay reveal will enough for all the fans who can’t wait to get their hands on the game, at least, until the game is released later this year.
Missing the first Far Cry 6 gameplay reveal is unacceptable as a Far Cry fan and you should never miss it, so watch out!
