Xiaomi announced Redmi 9i that features a 6.53 inches IPS display with HD+ resolution and aspect ratio of 20:9. It has a tear drop notch style that holds a 5MP sensor for selfies. It has remarkably minimal bezels on the front.
Redmi 9i is powered by the Mediatek Helio G25 chipset, which is an octa core and is based on 12nm process. It is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64/128GB of eMMC5.1 internal storage plus a microSD slot as well. On the OS side, it runs on Android 10 on top of MIUI 12.
The main feature is that, it packs a giant 5,000mAh battery with just 10W charging speed over microUSB port. With this power sipper chipset, it should last two full days on a single charge. Unlike other devices, Redmi 9i just has a single 13MP f/2.2 aperture lens with PDAF. It can shoot 1080p video max at 30fps.
The 4/64GB variant of Redmi 9i is priced at ($110), while the 128GB variant will cost ($124).
