Xiaomi officially unveiled Mi 10 Youth, It is a mid-ranger 5G smartphone with a quad camera setup. It is a toned down version of Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, with no 90Hz refresh rate and Snapdragon 865.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth has a 6.57″ AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and aspect ratio of 20:9 and supports HDR10+ and does not have high refresh rate but it supports 180Hz touch sampling rate though. It has a very minimal water-drop notch which holds a 16MP selfie camera. It also has a optical fingerprint scanner under the display.
Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth is powered by a Snapdragon 765G for 5G connectivity mainly, It has several variants in terms of ram and storage. The starter comes in 6/64GB and goes up to 8/256GB. The storage tech is a UFS 2.1. Performance will be not an issue as it doesn’t have high refresh rate screen. Xiaomi did introduced its new MIUI 12, but Mi 10 Youth will run on MIUI 11 based on Android 10 and will receive an update of MIUI 12 later.
Mi 10 Youth has a 4160mAh battery and supports 22.5W of fast charging. This battery is adequate to power the phone for at least a day.
Xiaomi very much advertised its quad camera setup on Mi 10 Youth. Main camera is a 48MP 1/2.0″ sensor with f/1.8, next one is the main featured 8MP 5x optical zoom periscope camera, which is awesome in this price range. Third camera is a 8MP ultra-wide sensor and the last one is a typical 2MP macro sensor.
It can shoot video max 4K at 30 fps, 1080p up to 120 fps and 720p at 960 fps.
